ASID Student Day is an opportunity for college students from Interior Design programs at Georgia Colleges and Universities to gather at ADAC for networking, behind-the-scenes showroom tours, and informative presentations from leaders within the design community.
This year, Student Day was inspired by Sherwin-Williams Color of the Year, Naval SW 6244. The day begins with a charrette competition where student teams are challenged with three design obstacles and must work together as a team to execute the project.
After lunch, kick-off the afternoon with presentations by two award-winning residential and contract designers.
The day culminates, as judges from the ASID Georgia design community select a winner of the charrette competition.
*Students will be provided with floor plans, cut sheets, samples (wallcovering, flooring, paint chips, fabric, etc.), and other materials to complete their design Charrette.
