The ICAA Southeast Chapter is pleased to announce they are accepting submissions for the Shutze Awards Design Competition, recognizing excellence in classical and traditional design. The Shutze Awards celebrate the region’s finest practitioners of the classical design tradition and are named for the internationally renowned Atlanta architect Philip Trammell Shutze, who is revered as one of the twentieth century’s most devoted classicists. The 18th Annual Shutze Awards ceremony will take place on October 5, 2024, and will acknowledge work in Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture & Garden Design, Artisan Craftsmanship, Restoration, Stewardship, Pedagogy, and the work of a Student/Emerging Professional.
Updated Awards Categories Include:
Architecture New Construction – Small, Medium, and Large categories
Architecture Renovation – Small, Medium, and Large categories
Architecture – Small Project under 1,500 SF
Architecture – Commercial under 10,000 SF & over 10,000 SF
Interior Design – Small, Medium, and Large categories
Interior Design – Single Room
