This year’s Lecture Series includes a lively line up of designers, architects, floral experts, and TV personalities! The Series begins on Thursday as Carson Kressley and Thom Filicia present two fabulous discussions. Carson and Thom are popular style and design personalities who first starred together on the television show, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Now, they are teaming up to offer insightful takes on current trends across the design and lifestyle spectrum, all with their customary hilarity and panache. Friday, it’s your opportunity to enjoy a morning presentation and book signing with the inimitable New York floral design team of Putnam & Putnam. Then, international event designer and producer Bronson van Wyck takes the stage for an enlightening look at how to be a world famous party planner, complete with a book signing of his latest book: Born to Party, Forced to Work. In the afternoon, Putnam & Putnam returns for a live demonstration that showcases their unique style and passion for flowers. The energy and talent continue to shine on Saturday, as Atlanta-based architect Stan Dixon and designer Jackye Lanham sit down to discuss Jackye’s fabulous house on Kiawah Island: “The Story of A House.”
