Culture Club presents A Discussion of Hat Design & Manufacture with China's Top Milliner

Atlanta native and fashion designer, Elisabeth Koch, is known for her keen eye for color, design, and fashion. Always having been a headwear fanatic, Koch attended the renowned Wombourne School of Millinery in the UK. After graduation, she set up Elisabeth Koch Millinery in Beijing in 2007. Koch has created two labels –Pink Labels is unique pieces of one-of-a-kind art and Blue Labels are ready-to-wear and made in limited amounts. Elisabeth’s hats and hair pieces have been worn by royalty, celebrities, and featured on the covers of Vogue, Cosmopolitan, ELLE, Self, and many other national magazines.

Culture Club guest will enjoy a short documentary on Koch's life in Beijing. As a milliner, mother of 2 young children, and foreigner, Koch will tell us what it's like to be the only hat-maker on mainland China. Why hats? Why her? Why there?
